Dystopian Dreams

Sushi is the 'lucky' one, he never had to suffer from the war, famine and disease that had forced his family to leave their homeland. Born in Melbourne, he spent a lot of his time at Lincoln Square, a safe place where he could interact with other children. He particularly enjoys listening to stories about his distant homeland which was mountainous and had rivers running to the sea. Subhi felt that the square was the physical manifestation of his homeland that told about and felt that it nurtured him and this made him optimistic about the future.
